It could save your life! Take David Fitzherbert, from West London.
He fell 20m down a crevasse but became wedged between two walls of ice thanks to his Blackberry, placed in his top pocket, catching a ledge on the way down.
Below was a further 200m drop.
He'd tried to ski down a glacier on the Matterhorn, in Switzerland, when the ice gave way.
He suffered a broken jaw and several lost teeth, but was drilled out of the crevasse by rescuers.
