Star climber Leo Houlding will show that there's more to the Lake District than walking and watersports.
Cumbria Tourism wants him to help make the region the UK Capital of Adventure.
So he'll be promoting more extreme thrills such as ghyll-scrambling, aqua-sailing and England's first Via Ferrata, at Honister Slate Mine.
Leo says: "The mountain and outdoor sports we have here are as enjoyable as anywhere in the world (and the beer is better!)
"My aim is to help promote our unique and dramatic region and to inspire visitors to get out and taste the adventure." |
