You may think having diabetes will stop you from walking, running and climbing in the outdoors.
But a new book has been published to show you this isn't so.
The Diabetic Athlete's Handbook 2009 (£11.99) covers everything from starting out and getting fit to preventing injuries and analysing the effects of different sports.
It covers a range of sports from walking, running and climbing to kayaking, snowboarding and even dog sledding.
The book was written by Dr Sheri Colberg Ochs, herself an active person with diabetes.
