Ever wanted to be an outdoor writer? Then join award winning author Mark Cocker and biologist Nigel Brown this summer on their new nature writing course.

The 4 1/2 day residential course, suitable for both beginners and experienced writers, will take place from May 24th – 29th at Ty Newydd, Llanystumdwy, North Wales.

Each day participants will get the chance to explore the local wildlife of Llanystumdwy before reporting back to Ty Newydd for group work and individual writing. The week will include work on how the environment works and how to express encounters with the landscape and its wildlife.

The cost of the course is £525 (single) or £450 (shared) with a 10% discount for WildlifeTrust members.

Mark Cocker’s most recent works include; Birds Britannica (2005), and Crow Country (2007) which won the New Angle Prize 2009.
