Vegan boot to be unveiled at Slide

With only a few weeks to go until sports gear showcase Slide, bootmakers Aku have revealed a new idea which will get plenty of attention there.
The brand has added a vegan boot to its Suiterra hiking range. Both the men’s and women’s Suiterra Injected and Suiterra Micro range have synthetic uppers and are bonded with glue which is free from any animal derivatives.
They say it's the first time they have offered a product which caters for vegans, and that it's a genuinely practical alternative rather than just a clever concept.
It's sure to impress at Slide, one of the UK's biggest trade fairs for sports gear and street wear, taking place at Manchester Central (formerly G-Mex) from Sunday, February 17 to Tuesday, February 19.
