How YOU can test the latest gear for Trail magazine...

I am off back to Helvellyn again in  3 weeks time wild camping with my new tent the Mountain Hardwear PCT 1..,  I am starting from Glenridding dodd over the rake to heron pike and then shefield pike on over to lucy's tongue past the old mine and swart beck then past  stang end and the waterfall along rowten beck waterfall then upto brown dodd at glenridding common and the small ford and fall then up the small zig zag path across abit from kepple cove and red screes over to whiteside bank and whiteside over to brown crag and brown how then piketoe knott and helvellyn gill to browncove crags to lower man and eventually helvellyn itself, as i will be in no perticualr hurry i fully intend to do a spot of wild camping so as i can use the time to take photographs as the main object of this trekk is try and capture some wonderful sun sets and sun rises and hopfully a beautifull cloud inversion perhaps !  I will be on the fells in totall about 4 nights and 5 days only decending back to glenridding village when its time to go home and catch the shuttle bus from windermere YHA to windermere train station, so i would be honoured to try any peice of equipment and point out my thoughts good and bad on such an item and also write a good solid report of how it faired up on the mountains of the lake district....Sincerley Kris.

I would absolutely love to contribute here. Unfortunately, I'm a returning addict after 10 years of cold-turkey and so am having to buy all new gear and can't review any of the gear already listed as I don't have any!!! Is there any way we humble wannabe contributors can "suggest" new gear? That way we can both share our humble opinions and increase the amount of reviewed gear to help everyone out before they hit the shops in 2009. Fuzzy Muzzy
