Nikwax has launched a brand new range of products aimed at the cosmopolitan walker. Now you can take a mini gear waterproofing and cleaning kit wherever you go.
The Travel Solutions range includes their Tech Wash, Basewash and Wool Wash cleaners. Each product comes in a 100ml tube, the right size to stop airline staff nicking it out of your hand luggage, and retails at £2.99.
Nikwax Sales and Marketing manager Jane Millar explained, “Research conducted among Nikwax users showed that, whilst people use Nikwax at home, they wanted a more convenient packaging to make the products easier to pack, transport and use on the move.”
Verdict
We agree the range will come in handy for the round-the-world backpacker, but at £9 for the lot, LFTO has to ask whether it might not be better to do a quick surface scrub if you’re on a week’s holiday, and leave the deep clean until you get home? Judge for yourselves on this one.
