The Less Is More (LIM) range from award-winning Swedish manufacturers Haglofs is a collection of minimalist performance clothing and equipment set to fill up the outdoor shop shelves this spring.

The star of the range is the £270 LIM Ozone jacket, which uses Gore-Tex’s newest waterproof membrane, Pro Shell. They use a minimal seam design with die-cut fabric to create a three-layer jacket that weighs only 360g. That’s 50g less than the winner of Trail’s last lightweight waterproof test, the Mountain Equipment Matrix (men’s) and Trinity (women’s), however the cost is £70 more.

It’s billed as the perfect jacket for walking, fell running, biking and climbing. If you've tried it, let us know in our forum here.

Other products in the range include lightweight backpacks from 35, 45 and 55 litres with GPS pockets on the hipbelt and roll up opening for fast access.
