There's something aesthetically majestic and serene about lakes.
They can turn a good view into a great one and can often be the highlight of a fantastic walk.
So we've gathered nine walks featuring some of Britain's finest lochs, lakes and llyns.
You can download them here free of charge and print them out to take with you on your walk.
Some of these routes feature upland sections but the great thing about lakeside walks in general is that they're normally fairly flat, thus reducing the chance of a slip in the ice.
