Forget muddy fields, lost tents and festival chaos - how about luxury urban camping with an incredible view?

On an August weekend when the country's capital was hustling and bustling with tourism and commerce, 60 individuals were preparing to spend a night in a tent 40 metres above London with views of St Pauls Cathedral and other landmarks including the London Eye & Big Ben.

The City Sleep Over event, in aid of the Princes Trust took place on the roof terrace of One New Change, St Pauls last month. Tents were sold at £400 each for the privilege of sleeping under canvas, in 33 pop up Vango Dart 200 tents pitched to maximise the amazing panoramic views of St Pauls and the surrounding city scape, high above the streets.

The event was supported by Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports who helped create a campsite like no other, with champagne, Feather and Black pillows, a gourmet barbecue, music and storytelling - a definnite 5 star experience! But despite the luxuries the 60 individuals who took part raised a whopping £6000 for charity.

Congratulations to all involved – a great event!
