Show us your 'haus' and you could win one of four high-performance Berghaus soft shells.
All walkers agree that wherever we're from, the hills are our real home. And we never stride the slopes more proudly and proprietorially than with shop-fresh gear on our backs. But where do you really live? That's the question we're asking in this week's new competition, and in return for showing us your groaning pile or mean little hovel you could win a brand new top-of-the-line soft shell jacket from Berghaus. Why? Because we're nosy, and because it helps to remind us that we're not the only ones who don't yet live in our dream home in the bosom of the hills.
The prizes
The women's Lhotse (£100) and men's Baltoro (£150) are for use in all but the heaviest rain, and combine the warmth of a mid layer and the benefits of an outer shell. Sculpted in a unique Bergnomic cut to eliminate bulk at the front, they feature two zipped lower pockets, positioned to allow easy access whilst wearing a rucsac or harness and windproof and water resistant Gore WINDSTOPPER® Soft Shell fabric. We've got two (in sizes 8-18 in women's and S-XXL in men's) to give away.

Upload a photo of your house, flat or hovel to our special 'Win Berghaus by showing us yourhaus' gallery by 15 February. It's a quick and painless process (just click on the 'Upload to your gallery' link and select the appropropriate category), and all submitters of photos will be entered into a draw, and winners announced on Monday 17 February. Owning a mansion is no advantage!
