The WaterAid Trail 100 event will put over 2000 walkers on top of the very best hills in the UK this Saturday, to provide clean drinking water and sanitation for the world’s poorest people. If you're taking part, here's your chance to win £1100-worth of before-it's-in-the-shops Berghaus gear.

Trail has teamed up with the charity WaterAid to organise the event and we want anyone taking part to upload their pictures to LFTO for a chance to win some fantastic Berghaus gear.

Each of the teams has selected its own Trail 100 from our list of the 100 best hills in the UK, which you can download here. And we want to create an online record of the event with your stories and pictures.

“We will be looking for pictures that capture the views, the fun and the excitement of this event,” says Trail’s editor Matt Swaine. “We’re going to include as many of these pictures as possible in the magazine and we’ll be selecting our favourite shots to win some exciting gear from Berghaus’ latest range.”

What you need to do to win
Come to LFTO after your walk and click this link to upload your pics (making sure you select the right Wateraid/Trail 100 category). Simply select your favourite pictures, enter as many as you like and try to include as much detail as you can on each caption to tell people where you were and what you were doing. The competition will run until the 4 July and competition winners will be announced on the 7 July.

What is WaterAid?
WaterAid is one of mountaineer Alan Hinkes favourite charities. It enables the world’s poorest people to gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education. These basic human rights underpin health, education and livelihoods and form the first, essential step in overcoming poverty.
It works with local partners, who understand local issues, and provide them with the skills and support to help communities set up and manage practical and sustainable projects that meet their real needs.
WaterAid also campaigns locally and internationally to change policy and practice and ensure water and  sanitation’s vital role in reducing poverty is recognised.
Find out more about their work at  www.wateraid.org.

Good luck to all involved and we can’t wait to see your pictures!
