What makes for a real hill-walking hero?

Someone who's undertaken a hill challenge to raise funds for Mountain Rescue?

A local mountaineering club leader who has inspired a community of walkers?

Someone who has campaigned for better outdoor access perhaps?

There are thousands of people out there making the outdoors a better place for all of us, and we want you to tell us about them.

Nominate your Hill-Walking Hero for your chance of winning some great Regatta gear.

What do you have to do?

Upload a photo of your hill hero and your reasons for nominating them.

What could you win?

You could win one of ten Regatta soft-shells worth £60. Winners will be drawn at random.

The person who nominates the winning hill-walking hero will win £400 of Regatta gear, including jacket, overtrousers, mid layer, boots, rucksack and hat.

The winning hill-walking hero will bag £200 of gear vouchers from Regatta.
