Upload your homemade mountain movie and you could win rucksacks, YHA Memberships, an airing at the Kendal Mountain Festival and even a paid assignment to Toubkal!
Fancy a trip to Toubkal? Well a special commission to film on North Africa’s highest summit could be yours if you can create a cracker of a mountain movie.
After last year’s hugely successful competition in which almost 100 people entered, the HMMA is back once again.

We want you to put your mountain experience into a short motion picture.
It can feature anything from a daunting climb up Kili to an awful attempt to put up your tent on a windy wild camp.
Your video can be as straight-laced or as whacky as you like. In fact, if you look at the efforts of last year’s finalists you’ll see how varied great mountain videos can be.
You just need to make sure your video is no more than three minutes long, has a hill walking theme and tells some sort of story about the outdoors.
Enter your video!

The winner of HMMA 2009 will be heading to the mystical High Atlas Mountains in Morocco, to climb and film on the summit of Toubkal, courtesy of The Adventure Company.
Every month one film will win an Osprey rucksack, and anyone can follow the competition right here.
HMMA 2009 will reach its conclusion at the Kendal Mountain Festival (19-22 November) at an award ceremony hosted by a top mountaineer.
The finalists will be staying at Kendal YHA.
So get filming and see if it’s you heading to Toubkal next year!
