Ben Lawers

This is a group og 6 easy munros that can be bagged on one quick trip, or a leisurely 2 day-er. I chose to do them xmas day and boxing day, and didnt encounter another soul. I cant vouch for them in summer, but in winter, with a smattering of snow and ice, they really are beautiful. I was really surprised by the number of foxes on the summits at night.

After several recommendations from the Trail forum, I chose the area around Ben Lawers to bag my first Munros. The mountain itself it straightforward to walk up, and you will not be short of company (we weren't on a chilly, rainy day), but mountain has it's own character and is well worth the effort.
