I like this hill as well, the Arrochar alps are one of my favourite groups of hills and very local too. I have climbed narnain on it's own or traversing over to A'Chrois. My tho' I came up from Butterbridge, took in Beinn Ime then across to Narnain finishing off with Beinn Imes top Beinn Luibhean. My next visit will combime them with Ben Vane, coming in for Inveruglas. An extra-fine day out!!

My friend told me I'd love this hill "provided that you don't mind a little exposure". A little! To an inexperienced hillwalker such as myself at the time it was bleeding scary! I took the route straight up from Succoth and there are a few (well now I'd say very easy) scrambles along the way. The route offers lovely views though, over The Cobbler and Loch Long and towards Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond. My favorite panorama pic is in fact from this walk. You'll never get bored on this hill and the best part is that once down in the beallach again you've got two more summits to chose from, provided that you feel like it. But then again, Beinn Narnain did give me a taste for more...

This has to be my most climbed hill. It suffers from comparison the glamourous Cobbler next door and it dismissed too easily by the Munro ticking squads marching straight up and down it. It is a steep, rugged wee hill. Covered in broken rock and crags all around its flat crown. Many fine routes up, down and away to neighbouring peaks for those of an adventurous mind. A fine hill indeed.
