Only 4hrs with simple navigation and not much danger if things go a little square shaped so seemed good for winter intro. Park in Lay-by 94 (A9)- 1hr approach along a vehicle track (by an aquaduct) followed by 2hr ascent/descent up relatively steep ground. Quite a lot of rocks under foot nearer the top, especially on the final climb to the summit plateau. Large summit cairne for some protection in bad weather with good views west to drumochter and east into the wilds.
