great ridge with great scrambles and even better views (when the weathers good)topped off with a pint and steak pie in the clachaig inn.

With only an hr hike up from road to first summit the ridge is not only one of the best scramble/climb's in the UK, its very accessable. this is by far the best day out Ive had in scotland. There are many excellent hilldays to be had here, but this ridge sum's them all up. A long and nerve testing day spent looking at the finest views also has to end in the famous claghaig inn at the foot of northwestern end of ridge for a perfect post hill ale! Not much in route variety as there is only one route but it changes from small exposed path to vertical rock scramble to small but very exposed bouldering points. 2/3 of the day is spent peering down 1500-2000ft drops on both side's of your feet! Most recommended day, but take precautions. This hill does have a high death toll. Summer-experience in exposed scramble's needed. Winter-full alpine skills needed for axe, crampon, rope and avalanche awareness.
