june 2009
travelled up from shropshire and camped on shores of loch hope.
it didnt get dark..
up around 7 and a couple of km down the road to the signposted ''way up ben hope'' by a large barn.
the route up was pretty easy, a fairly well worn path with the odd patch of peat.
the summit was in a snowy squall when we neared but we hung around and were rewarded with a very special view, a profile sight of foinaven, and hills stretching out forever southwards.
return trip time around 4 hours from the barn.
