Walking from Keswick along Derwent water and over Borrowdale Road, you climb along side a waterfall in a wooded area. When you emerge from the woods the view over Derwent water is astonishing. Continue to Walla Crag summit to see all of Keswick with Blencathra standing proud beyond.Breath taking view point!

Climbed without any major difficulty (I first did this with my Grandad.) Walla Crag is 1234ft which is easy to remember! Good to go from Keswick town centre then over the summit leading down to Ashness Bridge and back along Derwent Water. The surrounding scenery is brilliant (my favourite in all the UK) on the ascent and summit which looks over Derwent Water, Keswick town centre and surrounding fells. Would highly reccomend to anyone!
