A great walk from Old Dungeon Ghyll - Take the path which ascends next to Browney Gill. Turn right before reaching Red Tarn. Continue on over Great Knott and onto the Crinkle Crags. Carry on over Bowfell returning past Angle Tarn for the long slog back down by Rossett Gill. Reward yourself with a pint or two at the ODG whilst contemplating the interesting looking gills that will tempt you back next time.
