This may not be the most interesting of mountains to get to. I came up via Wetherlam and the prison band. But once up here there are great views out across the Coniston fells, out to sea over Sellafield and looking north you are treated to a great view of Langdale. This in its self makes a trip up here well worth while, without much effort upon your part. Add this one into a horseshoe walk. I liked the one reviewed by trail, starting in Coniston, up Wetherlam, great Carrs, grey Friar and up onto the Old Man. Top tip, get here for sunset, amazing.
