Theres a lovely round that takes in Linhope Spout (lovely waterfall) and Hedgehope. This is not a challenging or arduous hill but the views from the top on a clear day are fab. You can see Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island and Lindisfarne castle out to the East and the Cheviot to the West to name a few. I love this hill but I don't love the boggy snow/marsh crap bit down by the forest to east. Watch out for streams under the snow/ice, I went in up to my thigh several times, funny at first but then gets tiresome after the umpteenth time. Next time you're in the Cheviots, don't head straight for the big one only, either do Hedgehope on its own or join the two up.
