I love this hill. Easily accessible from Ambleside, not terribly taxing, wander up Scandale, and come down the ridge. Or make a horsehoe via Low Pike & High Pike & Scandale Pass. Ascend via Brotherswater; or if you're up for it from the Kirkstone Pass Inn. Anyone done that route? On a clear day the views are wonderful, down to Morecambe Bay, over to Helvellyn & Great Gable & up to Ullswater.
