One of Wales’ most interesting peaks, Glyder Fach is the natural continuation from Tryfan on the exciting Cwm Bochlwyd horseshoe, and it’s loaded with quirky diversions. From the splinters of Castell y Gwynt, the tempting surfboard promontory of the Cantilever Stone, immense northern cliffs and the raked spine of the exceptional Bristly Ridge, Glyder Fach is an utterly unique mountain experience for reasons all its own.
Best route: from Tryfan’s south descent onto Bristly Ridge – then a continuation over Glyder Fawr and down the north-east ridge of Y Garn: the connoisseur’s mountain horseshoe.

Again one to be enjoyed. We spent a long sunny May afternoon up here. Getting the perfect photo on top and below the cantilever. Scrambling up Bristley ridge and over the top sure gave us a taste for trying out further scrambling in other areas. It looks exposed but once your on the rock its quite straight forward. Views are stunning, especially over the edges, don't look down..........

A lovely walk, with many routes to the top, including those mentioned above. A sunny day and your view seems endless, a misty top and the excitement can be extreme! So many characters, all interesting.

A grown ups-playground this. The whole of the summit can absorb hours as you wander around exploring. You must visit it.
