This is a superb winter glove that was initially my favourite glove on test. I liked it as it featured a removable fleece liner glove with a sticky palm that could be worn on its own or inside the shell. This design is ideal for operating buttons on GPS receivers for example as well as providing very accurate temperature control. The shell itself is a gauntlet design with a leather palm. I particularly liked the close fit provided by the stretch fabric on the back of the hand and fingers. The glove fit is also enhanced by the elasticated wrist, with buckle adjuster and a drawcord cuff. The result is a very dexterous glove that can be worn throughout the year due to the module system of inner and shell glove The soft nose wipe and wrist least are excellent additional features. But after repeated use I found the inner glove very uncomfortable at the base of the thumb due to a very rough seam. The seam has pieces of silicone from the sticky palm print that irritate your skin. It really is only this seam that lets this glove down, so if you can tolerate it then this glove should win the review! It really is that good apart from that seam.

Material: Marmot Membrain waterproof shell; leather palm; DriClime synthetic lining; removable fleece liner glove
Sizes: XS-XL
Made in China
Stores in UK: England 8; Wales 1; Scotland 2; Ireland 1

Verdict: Buy it if you want the flexibility of a liner glove as well as a great shell glove and can tolerate the rough seam on the inner glove.
