Berghaus Out There Mitt

Made from Gore-Tex, this mitt comes with built-in insulation. It benefits from a close fit plus some useful extra features compared with some models. A leather palm adds durability, and you get a precurved mitt profile. A webbing wrist adjuster helps the fit and cuff drawcord keeps the rain and snow out. Added extras are a nose wipe and a wrist security cord. All that adds up to a good mix of essential and less essential features that most hill-walkers will appreciate. All that for £50 makes these ideal for most hill-walkers in the UK. But you don’t get a removable liner mitt or glove, so these will be slow to dry. However, you could wear your own thin glove inside them – which I would recommend as they are not as warm as some others either.
