The Berghaus Out There is a good general glove with a Gore-Tex waterproof lining to guarantee dry hands. There’s synthetic reinforcement on the palm and also the fingertips. The fit is fairly close with a wide webbing buckle locking the glove in place, while a drawcord closes down the cuff. There’s reflective piping too for night action. It has a reasonably close fit and offers enough insulation for a wet winter day on the hills. So these are great for general wet winter use in the hills when you want good protection around the wrist and reasonable dexterity at a good price. But the Berghaus Out There’s palm may be a less durable design than others here, as you don’t get the leather protection offered by some gloves. The fit is perhaps not perfectly close, so you’ll still have to remove it sometimes to operate your GPS for example. There is not as much insulation in this glove compared to  others, so not the best for snowy winter walks.

Verdict
The Berghaus Out There is an ideal general glove if you want a well-priced Gore-Tex glove with reasonable features for wet winter weather.
