Long in the body. Deep, adjustable hood, which proved totally bomb-proof in a gale. Its bulk made the Monsoon quite warm. Comes with a useful array of deep pockets and wide opening pit zips. Lots of features make it quite heavy, however.

Verdict: A tough, well-featured jacket with an excellent hood. Quite heavy, but will keep you dry in a downpour. Check sizes before you buy.
