The Salomon Paclite Jacket weighs just 328g (men’s L); Gore Paclite offers good performance; the two pockets are map-sized; hood can be rolled down and secured; full-length front zip; good hood fit and movement. But pockets cannot easily be accessed with rucksack; more condensation than Gore-Tex Pro Shell; hood peak, fit and movement not ideal.
Verdict
The Salomon Paclite Jacket is a reasonable price and weight, but pockets and hood could be better.
