I was a little unconvinced when I moved away from Goretex. Hearing that Paramo wasnt 'waterproof'. Well as far as I am concerned it does the job.
I have used this jacket in winter with temperatures down to -7 (windchill) and only had a light baselayer on (Iceburg 220) and warm as toast.
The downside is that even with the venting in the sleeves it is far to warm for summer. So hence my 'not your normal 3 season jacket'
When wearing it is really comfortable and 'folds around' - could say it gives you a hug in bad weather ( PARAMO THAT IS MY QUOTE!!!)
The one real downside is the inside liner is starting to pill, and did vurtually after it's first outing.
