A really technical-looking jacket with all the features of a top-quality waterproof. It’s comfortable to wear, with adjustment at the cuffs, waist and hem to fine-tune the fit, and soft fabric at the chin to prevent chafing. The hood is fantastic – deep enough for the biggest heads of hair, with adjustment side and back to lock it down tightly around your face. A large, very stiff peak will try its best to keep your face dry in heavy rain. The Gore-Tex Pro Shell fabric is by far the best in the test – it’s extremely waterproof, very breathable, and really tough too. The three large chest pockets will all take an OS map, and they’re well-placed for easy access when wearing a pack. A lightweight, waterproof and breathable jacket that lasts.
