A very light jacket, the Atomic is cut quite short, making it suitable for summer use and high-energy activities, and it packs down easily in its own stuffsack. The Entrant DT Storm and Kudos nylon ripstop fabric is soft to the touch, although less breathable and more rustly than some. It is incredibly waterproof for its weight, though, with a decent-sized adjustable hood that moves easily with the head. Good wired peak too, and a high, fleece-lined collar. The large pockets have a soft mesh lining for venting and hand warming, and are placed high on the chest for easy access. A fairly priced lightweight summer waterproof that will sit in the bottom of your pack unnoticed until you need it.
