This lightweight waterproof jacket from Lowe Alpine is a little shorter in the body than some, but fits very well. The hood is a teeny bit on the small side, but the snug, high collar is excellent. No weather seems bad enough to faze the Venture.

Verdict: Ridiculously light and incredibly packable, it’s a top-notch lightweight waterproof that won’t let you down. An excellent new addition to the Lowe Alpine range.
