A warm jacket, but the Scarab has excellent venting through the pockets and this, plus an excellent combination of fabrics (Pertex with a pile lining), means it breathes incredibly well so remains very versatile. Includes a roll-away hood, which is very comforting when it is needed. Yet despite all these features, it’s also very light and packs down well, too.
