This midweight women’s fleece from Jack Wolfskin has quite a long body, but the soft fabric ensures a fairly good, comfortable fit. The arms might be a little too long, but the high, cosy collar and soft fleece cuffs are impressive. It’s warm, and the handwarmer pockets are a good size, but they’re positioned quite low, so are not that easy to get to with a rucksack on.

Verdict: The Nakina is a fairly priced jacket with a flattering, contoured fit. It remains warm and cosy, even when it’s a little on the roomy side.
