This duvet jacket weighs only 320g; Primaloft synthetic insulation; simple smock design; stuffsack; map-sized chest pocket; tunnel hip pocket; superb as extra insulation outside the coldest months. But only a thin garment, so not very warm; you may want a hood.

Verdict: Buy it if you want backup insulation for spring, summer or autumn rather than winter.

I find this the perfect smock to chuck on to allow me to spend a little more time at the summit.Also good on a cold day for lunch breaks etc.Takes up hardly any space and feels cosy. In general I only use it when I stop moving as its too warm to scramble or walk in.Then again I am a warm person.
