A classic pair of trousers built with an eye towards travelling, thanks to their built-in sun protection and mosquito repellent. There is no stretch in the fabric, although the cut is suitably generous to negate this. The fabric itself is fairly lightweight too, aiming them at the summer walker. They aren’t a true convertible trouser but you can roll the leg up to convert them into a Capri/long short when it’s hot – a useful feature that doesn’t add any bulky zips or extra weight to them, with simple button-fastening holding the rolled up leg in place. Although they are a little wide in the leg, bungee cord adjustment around the hems allows you to tighten the fit around your boots when needed.
