These Rab Vapour Rise Trail Pants are so light and soft against the skin it’s easy to forget you’re wearing any! We like the elastic waist, backed up with belt loops, but the Large size is a little too baggy. These are warm trousers that will keep a short shower or a bit of drizzle at bay and remain comfortable even when they do wet out. Could do with some venting to expand their temperature range.

Verdict: Cosy and comfortable and perfect for walking in really cold weather, where they’ll even withstand a little precipitation. A bit too ‘outdoorsy’ for casual use but still great value.
