Don’t be fooled by the lightweight fabric used in these women’s walking trousers as not only does it stretch in two directions and feel great against the skin, it is also one of the most wind-resistant. The waist is tricot-lined for comfort and moisture movement, while adjustment can be achieved by adding a belt to the loops provided. The zip fly is fastened using a simple and easy-to-use combination of a hook and Velcro. There are three pockets – one back pocket with a zip and two on the hip. The ankle cuff adjustment is also simple and effective using a drawcord. The toggle is a good size and is housed neatly in its own ‘garage’. But The only waist adjustment comes from adding your own belt, and only one pocket has a zip. There is also no ventilation as the pockets are lined with tricot rather than mesh – nice and comfy but also a little sweaty.
