This 2-person backpacking tent is a very lightweight design that is also unique as the poles are one complete interlinked set, which helps to make pitching very easy, despite their complicated appearance. The tent is pitched inner-first with the inner being suspended from the poles. The outer goes over the top and benefits from ladder lock adjusters to ensure it is taut. There is one entrance and the doors are excellent as they have three zip pulls, which allow them to be opened in a variety of ways. The inner door is simpler and just rolls to the side. You get a small porch that is large enough for a rucksack (or two at a tight squeeze). The headroom is good and two campers can easily sit up. The design is also very stable. For the weight this is a very specious and stable tent. But that small porch is a real disadvantage for two campers as it limits storage space for wet gear. It is an inner-pitched-first design too, which isn’t the best for wet weather. There is no vent at the rear of the tent and not a lot of control over ventilation, particularly as the fly sits quite high (about 12cm) above the ground, so this could be draughty.

But it if you want a very lightweight tent with good inner space and don’t mind the small porch or inner-pitched-first design.
