This 4-person family tent pitches outer-first with three poles sliding through continuous sleeves where one end of the sleeves is sewn shut to make pitching a little easier. Ladder-lock webbing straps around the base make tensioning easy too. Inside you get a massive (220cm) porch at one end, which allows a couple of bikes to be stored or a load of rucksacks with space remaining to cook and enter the tent. The doorways are quite unusual being at the side of the porch as well as directly into the inner from the side of the tent. You also get windows in the porch and air vents. But the outer doors only roll to the top, so they don’t offer the venting options of some other tents. Some others also have more mesh pockets inside to keep gear tidy, while others are more stable and lighter.
