The Minima is an extremely lightweight and compact 2-person sub-2kg tent when packed. Unfold it, and you get a simple inner-pitch design where the colour-coded poles slip effortlessly through sleeves on the inner, upon which the flysheet fits. There is a vent at each end to aid condensation control, while the main door can be zipped open and secured neatly. There is a small porch that can be used to store your boots and stove, and this area can be enlarged by unclipping the front of the inner, say while making a brew. Get inside and two can just about lie sleeping. The low tunnel profile is very stable too. But this is small tent – just look at the stats. Although two can sleep inside, it is a tight squeeze and no-one is going to be able to sit up with a max internal height of just 65cm. The small porch is a drawback too if you have gear you want to keep dry. Really, this is better as a spacious one-person bivvy.
