Aztec Esquina

This extremely stable semi-geodesic tent from Aztec, which is light to carry, pitches really easily (inside and outside together) and has just about enough room for two for shorter backpacking trips. Good ventilation, courtesy of mesh panels and two-way zips, and well built. Looks good, too.

Verdict: Quite dear compared to some, but still great value for money.

I've only used this tent in britain but so far i am really impressed with it. It is really spacious and offers plenty of room for kit. The only gripe I have is with the pole and pin pitching. Because the tent is so well tensioned it can be hard to get the pole over the pin. This is a minor point and certainly not one to stop you from buying this tent. Hopefully i can have a camping trip full of rubbish weather to see how well it performs but I have plenty of confidence in the tent.
