The Vango Tiree 25 unisex rucksack has a good, channelled back system – comfortable, cool and it holds the load close to your back. The Vango Tiree 25 hip belt is comfy, too, but the shoulder straps feel a little too padded. A good size for day-walks and we like the double lid pocket – useful for separating regularly needed items. However, the side pockets are too small for a water bottle or flask, and it’s not hydration-compatible.

Verdict A tough but basic, traditionally-styled rucksack that’s easy to carry and is a decent price. Worth considering if you don’t want or need to use a hydration reservoir.
