Quite a big, heavy pack but the X-ert is exceedingly comfortable, courtesy of a well-padded, adjustable harness. It’s well-featured, with useful bellowed side pockets, walking pole attachments, a single pocket in the lid and an easy-to-use single buckle for the main compartment. It has a concealed key pocket and a useful rain cover stowed beneath the main compartment. The back system feels cool and comfortable but it could really do with some compression straps to improve stability and versatility.
