This daysack from Regatta has a shortish back-length, meaning it always feels a bit high up on your back. Other than that, the channelled padding feels cool and comfortable and the harness provides sufficient support. It’s comfortable and stable in action, and the selection of pockets can’t be faulted. However, it isn’t hydration system compatible.

Verdict: A decent budget-end pack, offering sufficient comfort and stability. It also boasts some useful features for the price, including a good choice of pockets, but there’s no hydration space.
