This daysack comes with the usual set of features. It has a nice selection of good-sized pockets making the pack functional on the hill, but without making it too fussy and over-complicated. The side ones will hold a one litre Nalgene bottle, while the front pocket is big enough to allow you to keep your OS map handy. Although the back system is not vented, the padding used is positioned in such away so as to let some air pass though. This will go at least some way to keeping you cool as the weather warms up or you pick up the pace. But there’s no vented back system and to compensate a lot of foam is in contact with your back. What’s more, the adjustability of it is quite limited. There are also no facilities for a hydration system, and the rain cover cannot be removed.
