An inexpensive pack and therefore understandably quite basic, but the Hiker still does the job, and is ideal if you tend to stick to shorter, easier walks where all you need is some water and a few snacks. The back system is flimsy and offers limited ventilation, but the harness does a reasonable job with plenty of adjustment where needed. Features include hydration system compatibility, shock cord pole attachments and single side compression straps.
