I bought this pack because it seemed to tick all the boxes, and I had just worn out my last pack on the Pennine Way.
The fault is that it tries to "tick too many boxes", which just creates confusion.
There's pockets all over the place, ,with a multitude of small fiddely buckles
that have to be inserted the right way round, which is difficult with gloves on.The twin narrow double waist straps instead of the usual one wider strap,I found awkward to do up in a gale in a hurry.
The waist buckle pops undone if I lean forward (and no I'm not overweight)and the multitude of string straps fly all over the place in the wind.
I would always buy a sack with side pockets as I prefer a waterbottle, but this pack lacks a clean functional design, and has just too many pockets for convenience.
It is also very expensive compared to others.
The back system is good though, I found it comfortable,I really like the facility to store and remove walking poles "on the go",and also acess the water bottles relatively easily.
